The Americas Business Council (abc*) Foundation is a made of a group of experts brought together to promote peace, sustainability and prosperity by fostering discussion with leaders in the Americas about the most pressing social and environmental challenges facing our world, and presenting them with opportunities to engage in impact-driven initiatives that provide tangible solutions.
Founded in 2008, ABC* provides a platform for emerging leaders in the region to use their influence, networks, and resources to achieve positive and lasting change. The organization was founded by four prestigious business leaders in Latin America, who now serve as Co-Chairs of the Foundation: Emilio Azcarraga, Chairman and CEO of Grupo Televisa; Guillermo Romo, Chairman and founder of Grupo Mega; Angelica Fuentes, CEO of Omnilife; and Jorge Vergara, Chairman and founder of Omnilife and the owner of the soccer team ‘Las Chivas’. Mario Scarpetta, President of Azurita.
The abc* Foundation honors and supports the work of social entrepreneurs who, by identifying a problem, dedicate themselves to finding a solution for the common good.
We worked with abc* Foundation in the production and logistics of their 2011 Poder Forum and Poder abc* Business Awards as well as their 2011 and 2012 Continuity Forum, Experience, Envision, Engage.
